The original receipt, gift receipt or packing slip is required for all returns and exchanges. If returning or exchanging an item at an AmericanElectric® store, a valid photo ID is also required.

Return & Exchange period for eBikes & Parts :

14 days for all eligible products; Product(s) must be in its new original condition. American Electric reserves the right to deny any return or exchange.

15% Re-stocking fee will apply to all new returned items.

In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged or non-operational product, please notify us within seven business days from the date of delivery. Battery Safety Notice:

CAUTION: IMPROPER USE OF LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES CAN RESULT IN EXPLOSIONS OR FIRE. USING THESE BATTERIES FOR PURPOSES NOT SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE.

It is crucial to understand that all rechargeable batteries carry inherent risks, regardless of the circumstances. Exercise extreme caution when handling Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer), and any other rechargeable cells (collectively referred to as "Rechargeable Batteries"), as they possess hazardous charging characteristics and have the potential to explode or burn if mishandled. Purchasers and users of Rechargeable Batteries should educate themselves on the proper handling, charging, discharging, assembly, and storage of these batteries. For comprehensive information on appropriate storage and care of rechargeable batteries, please refer to the resource provided here: http://batteryuniversity.com/. We shall not be held responsible for any damages resulting from the misuse or mishandling of Rechargeable Batteries. By purchasing our products, you agree to indemnify and hold American Electric North America LLC (AmericanElectric, AmericanElectric Lithium Batteries), its directors, officers, partners, contractors, licensors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, directly or indirectly related to the purchased products.

Here are some essential guidelines to follow:

  1. Always charge Rechargeable Batteries on and within fire-resistant materials.

  2. Never leave Rechargeable Batteries unattended while charging in a recharging station.

  3. Do not use any Rechargeable Battery or charger if there is visible damage or if it has been mishandled, whether accidentally or otherwise.

  4. Store and transport rechargeable cells in a secure, non-conductive container.

  5. Properly dispose of all battery cells and chargers in compliance with local laws and regulations (if uncertain, contact your local municipality).

  6. If a Rechargeable Battery becomes overheated, emits hissing sounds, or bulges, promptly isolate the battery from any flammable materials. Ideally, take the battery outdoors.

  7. In the event of a Rechargeable Battery catching fire, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recommends pouring water or soda on the battery and surrounding areas. Ideally, use a foam extinguisher to suppress the fire.
