American Electric – Terms & Conditions of Orders (2025)
These Terms & Conditions govern all sales, services, and transactions conducted with AmericanElectric Energy. (“American Electric,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order, you (“Customer” or “Purchaser”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellation and Refund Policy
1.1 Cancellation Window
- Customers have 24 hours from the time of order placement to submit a cancellation request.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to office@american-electric.co.
- Cancellation requests submitted via chat, text message, voicemail, or any email address other than office@american-electric.co are strictly invalid and will not be honored.
1.2 Cancellations After 24 Hours
- Cancellations requested after the 24-hour window are subject to a 20% restocking fee (applies to all battery types, including but not limited to: battery packs, naked packs, rebuilds, and custom packs).
- The remaining 80% of the total purchase price will be refunded.
1.3 Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
- Refunds typically post within 7–10 business days, depending on the customer’s bank or financial institution.
2. Delivery Policy
2.1 Standard Delivery Timeframe
- The estimated delivery timeframe for batteries is 35–45 business days (excluding weekends, holidays, or factory closure days).
- Customers with urgent deadlines or expedited requirements are advised to seek alternative vendors, as American Electric prioritizes quality over speed.
2.2 Force Majeure Delays
- In the event of supplier shortages, hazardous material (HAZMAT) shipping delays, or custom battery sourcing issues, American Electric reserves the right to extend delivery by an additional 10 business days.
2.3 Excessive Delays
- If delivery exceeds the extended timeframe, customers may submit a written request for a refund, please email your request to office@american-electric.co
3. Return for Warranty Repair or Replacement & Exchange Policy
3.1 General Provisions
- All returns require proof of purchase (original receipt).
- Returns for warranty repairs or replacements are accepted only if the Customer provides valid evidence of an incorrect order or a non-operational battery. Acceptable proof includes video evidence, clear photographs, or a professional diagnostic report from a certified battery repair facility.
- Exchanges are accepted only if the delivered product does not match the product/item listed on the original receipt.
3.2 Non-Returnable Items (Strictly No Exceptions)
- Used Items: Products showing signs of wear or use.
- Custom Products: Custom-built battery packs, samples, or non-standard orders.
- Services: Repairs, diagnostics, installations, and other completed services.
- Damaged/Abused Items: Products that have been misused, abused, or physically damaged.
- Incomplete Products: Items missing essential accessories (e.g., cords, cables).
- Personalized Items: Etched, engraved, or otherwise customized items.
- Special Orders: Non-defective special order products.
3.3 Returns by Mail
- All returns must be shipped in the original packaging, including the packing slip, issued return label, and all original materials.

3.4 Refund Method for Approved Refunds.
- Approved Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method (credit card or PayPal).
Notice: AmericanElectric Energy reserves the right to refuse future orders, returns, or exchanges if abuse of this policy is detected.
4. Warranty Policy
4.1 Eligibility
- Warranty claims for defects (e.g., charging issues, power failures, or physical defects such as dents or scratches) must be submitted via email to office@american-electric.co.
4.2 Shipping for Warranty Evaluation
- Approved warranty claims will receive a return shipping label.
- Customers are required to pay a $39 prepaid shipping fee.
4.3 Exclusions
- If inspection reveals improper handling (e.g., casing opened, physical impact, blown fuses), the prepaid shipping fee is non-refundable.
4.4 Resolution
- If a manufacturer defect is confirmed, American Electric will repair or replace the item within 10–15 business days.
4.5 Support Commitment
- American Electric provides product support for new and custom batteries for one (1) year from the date of delivery.
5. Chargeback Policy
5.1 Terms of Customer Chargebacks/Stop Payments
- By completing a purchase, Customers expressly agree not to initiate chargebacks and instead to follow the policies outlined herein.
5.2 Penalties for Unjustified Chargebacks
- Any unjustified chargeback will result in legal action.
- A minimum fee of $100 or 20% of the total order value (whichever is greater) will be assessed to recover administrative, legal, and financial costs.
5.3 Resolution Commitment
- Customers eligible for refunds due to delays or cancellations must contact American Electric directly at office@american-electric.co.
- Filing a chargeback is unnecessary, delays resolution, and may result in additional fees.
6. General Provisions
6.1 AmericanElectric Energy reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and are effective immediately upon posting.
6.2 Placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

7. Battery Rebuild – Special Terms & Conditions
7.1 Label Issuance: Prepaid shipping labels will be issued within 24–72 hours of order creation.
7.2 Label Expiration: Labels are valid for 30 days. Customers must request and pay for replacement labels after expiration.
7.3 Labor Responsibility: If the Customer fails to ship the product within 30 business days of label issuance, the Customer is liable for all incurred labor costs.
7.4 Cancellations: Rebuild orders canceled after 24 hours of placement are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.
7.5 Customer Packaging Responsibility: Customers must properly package items to ensure safe transit.
7.6 Non-Compliance: Failure to comply may result in cancellation of services, forfeiture of the order, or additional charges.

Warranty Disclaimer: American Electric Energy explicitly states that no warranties are provided for the goods available for purchase on this website. This includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, whether arising by law, custom, trade usage, or otherwise.
The buyer acknowledges that:
- They have not relied on any representation or warranty made by the seller or any individual acting on the seller's behalf.
- The seller does not provide assurances or guarantees regarding the quality, suitability, or performance of the goods sold.
Buyers are advised to:
- Conduct a thorough review of product descriptions, specifications, and any available information.
- Make an independent assessment to determine whether the goods meet their specific needs and requirements.
- Seek professional advice if necessary before making a purchase.
By completing a purchase, buyers accept the absence of warranties provided by the seller and assume sole responsibility for evaluating the goods’ fitness for their intended purpose.
Battery Safety Notice
CAUTION: Improper use of lithium-ion batteries can result in explosions, fires, serious injury, or property damage. Using these batteries for purposes not specified by the manufacturer is hazardous.
All rechargeable batteries, including Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer), and other types (collectively referred to as "Rechargeable Batteries"), carry inherent risks. Extreme caution is required during handling, charging, discharging, assembly, and storage.
Key Guidelines for Safe Use:
- Always charge Rechargeable Batteries on and within fire-resistant materials.
- Never leave Rechargeable Batteries unattended while charging.
- Do not use any Rechargeable Battery or charger if it shows visible damage or signs of mishandling.
- Store and transport batteries in secure, non-conductive containers.
- Dispose of batteries and chargers in compliance with local laws and regulations. Contact your local municipality for guidance if unsure.
- If a battery overheats, emits hissing sounds, or bulges, isolate it from flammable materials immediately and, if possible, take it outdoors.
- In case of a fire, the FAA recommends pouring water or soda on the battery and surrounding areas. A foam extinguisher is also effective for suppressing battery fires.

By purchasing our products, buyers agree to indemnify and hold American Electric North America / American Electric Energy (AmericanElectric, AmericanElectric Lithium Batteries), its directors, officers, contractors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities, including reasonable attorney's fees, related to the purchased products.

Service Policy: American Electric offers battery servicing for issues determined to be the manufacturer’s responsibility. Cases of customer misuse or mishandling will be reviewed at the discretion of our technical team, and additional fees may apply depending on the nature and severity of the issue.
