Why Recycle?
At AmericanElectric Energy, we believethat every battery recycled is a step towardsa cleaner and greener future. Here’s why recycling matters.
Lithium-ion batteries account for a growing portion of e-waste, with over 500,000 tons discarded globally each year, yet less than 5% are recycled
The world generates 60 million tons of electronic waste yearly, with only 20% properly recycled.
Over 15 billion lithium batteries are discarded globally each year, many ending up in landfills, posing environmental risks and wasting valuable materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel.

Recycling your lithium-ion batteries and rechargeable devices with us supports a sustainable future. It reduces the need for mining, minimizes environmental harm, and drives down production costs, creating a positive impact for both your business and the planet.
