American Electric – Order Terms & Conditions (2026)
These Terms and Conditions govern all sales, services, and transactions conducted by AmericanElectric Energy (“American Electric,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order, the customer (“Customer” or “Purchaser”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Cancellation Policy — Action Required Within the First 12 Hours
Customers have exactly 12 hours from the time an order is placed to request cancellation without a restocking fee.
To be valid, a cancellation request must:
-
Be submitted in writing by email to office@american-electric.co;
-
Be sent within the initial 12-hour cancellation period; and
-
Clearly identify the customer and the order to be canceled.
Cancellation requests submitted through chat, text message, voicemail, or any email address other than office@american-electric.co will be considered invalid and will not be accepted.
American Electric will honor all properly submitted cancellation requests received within the 12-hour period, regardless of whether American Electric has responded before the 12-hour deadline expires. Customers are strongly encouraged to submit cancellation requests as early as possible and should not wait for a response before the deadline.
2. Cancellations After 12 Hours
Cancellation requests submitted after the initial 12-hour period are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
The restocking fee covers the customer’s production or fulfillment position, administrative time, labor, materials, and other resources allocated to the order after the 12-hour cancellation period has expired.
To avoid this fee, customers must email office@american-electric.co before the 12-hour cancellation period ends.
3. Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery is estimated to occur within 35–45 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, factory closures, and other non-business days. American Electric may extend the estimated delivery period by up to 10 additional business days in cases of force majeure or other delays beyond the company’s reasonable control.
If the applicable delivery period is exceeded, the customer may request a full refund by emailing office@american-electric.co.
4. Warranty Returns, Repairs, and Replacements
Requests for warranty repairs or replacements must include proof of purchase and valid supporting evidence, such as photographs, video, or a professional diagnostic report.
Exchanges or order modifications will be accepted only when the delivered item does not match the applicable receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
The following items are strictly non-returnable:
-
Used products;
-
Custom batteries ordered by telephone that are not listed for sale on the American Electric website;
-
Damaged or incomplete products;
-
Personalized products;
-
Special-order products; and
-
Services that have already been rendered.
5. Approved Returns
All approved returns must:
-
Be shipped in the original packaging;
-
Use the return label issued by American Electric; and
-
Be shipped exclusively through UPS or FedEx to:
American Electric® Factory 1, FL
2546 SW 30th Ave
Hallandale, FL 33009
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
6. Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be submitted by email to office@american-electric.co. A $39 prepaid shipping fee is required for warranty-related shipments.
If the issue is determined to be manufacturer-related, the repair or replacement will generally be completed within 10–15 business days.
American Electric provides support for one year from the date of delivery. Warranty coverage does not apply to issues caused by misuse, tampering, improper handling, unauthorized modifications, or physical damage.
7. Chargebacks
Customers agree not to initiate a chargeback for transactions that are subject to these Terms and Conditions. Unjustified chargebacks may result in a penalty of $100 or 20% of the order value, whichever is greater, in addition to any other remedies available to American Electric, including legal action where appropriate.
Refunds related to delays or cancellations must be requested directly from American Electric by emailing office@american-electric.co.
8. Changes to These Terms
American Electric reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms and Conditions will be posted on the American Electric website.
9. Battery Rebuilds
Battery rebuilds are subject to the following additional conditions:
-
Shipping labels will be issued within 24–72 hours and will remain valid for 30 days;
-
Failure to ship the battery within 30 business days may result in additional labor charges;
-
Cancellations submitted more than 24 hours after the order is placed are subject to a 20% restocking fee;
-

All rechargeable batteries, including Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer), and other types (collectively referred to as "Rechargeable Batteries"), carry inherent risks. Extreme caution is required during handling, charging, discharging, assembly, and storage.
Key Guidelines for Safe Use:
-
Always charge Rechargeable Batteries on and within fire-resistant materials.

Store and transport batteries in secure, non-conductive containers.

-
If a battery overheats, emits hissing sounds, or bulges, isolate it from flammable materials immediately and, if possible, take it outdoors.
